The nautilus shell is a sacred geometric shape called the Fibonacci spiral which is a shape of creation into form within nature. The angel shaped cloud in a ray of golden light represents an incoming soul, freshly conceived and on its way into its earthly life, the shell representing the female womb and metaphorically the womb of creation. it represents both the conception and gestation of a baby as well as an idea or creative work/project.
